Perception is Reality in Pisces with Clary Sage and Frankincense

As winter winds down and spring takes over, Mika and I decided to make one last sojourn into the snow. We took advantage of a typical late winter storm in Utah to make our journey up the beautiful Dry Canyon trail in Lindon to summit Little Baldy, a nice but challenging winter peak that I like to climb every early March as Pisces gives way to Aries.

Mika was in her typical high-energy mode, as she leapt into the snow like it was her newest toy. She scooped up mouthful after mouthful as she looked for little snow creatures to chase.

The going was slow but steady for the first two miles. The trail was moderately trafficked, so the snow was packed pretty well. But then, we hit the crossroads to Little Baldy, and that trail looked like it hadn't been trod since late fall. In fact, in the deep snow, there was no trail, only pure white powder.

The trail heads east at the crossroads into virgin snow

The next mile was 90 minutes of pure struggle and adrenaline. Mika, who traditionally loves to lead the way in her true Aries fashion, was not feeling bold enough to brave the 3.5 feet deep snow first, so she sheepishly trailed behind and let me blaze the trail with my MSR snowshoes.

The virgin snow reminded me of the powerful Clary Sage oil, which is used to strengthen women during their moon cycles. Here at Mountain Freedom, we have just released a powerful new product with Frankincense and Clary Sage. This new deodorant recipe helps absorb under arm odor and leaves you feeling refreshed and ready for spring!

As we made turn after turn along the foothills west of Mount Timpanogos, we could see beautiful views of the valley unfolding below us just briefly. The snow began to fly more frequently as we climbed towards 8,000 feet.

We finally reached the summit just as the snow unleashed on us, but Timp to the east was clear enough for us to marvel at its glorious white, majestic peaks. The struggle was completely worth it, as we turned this dream into reality with plenty of sweat and snow.
